If you would like me to draw something for you please write to me here: mephistophiles138@web.de and explain what you are looking for and describe your ideas.

If your ideas are within my capabilities and not against my general principles and values I will tell you my price.

If you agree with the price I will provide different sketches.

These first sketches are for free!

This is my policy because for me it is important to see if there is a basis for working together furthermore it gives you the opportunity to see if I can realize your ideas.

(most artists would charge these sketches too because in the end it is working time)

If we can agree on one of these concepts and you want me to start the actual artwork (or if I have to change one of these sketches to develop your concept further) I would like to have half of the total price up-front (I accept Paypal).

After receiving the money I start with the actual artwork.

Since I am working on different projects parallel and have to meet different deadlines I appreciate if our communication is without delay. If you ask me something I will mostly answer within 24 hours, I expect the same of you.

After starting the final work there will be no possibilities for further changes.

5.

After finishing the work you will get a medium resolution picture of the final result to see if you are content with it.

After completion simple corrections of the final work are possible, however this depends on the kind of change requested by you and has to be negotiated from case to case.

If you agree to the final work I demand the other half of the price. After receiving the money you will get the data (high resolution scans in different formats and small or medium resolution scans for promotional use).

The original physical drawing remains in my possession (unless otherwise agreed).

If you want to have the original drawing too, the price will increase.

6.

You purchase the rights to use the artwork for a specific purpose we agree to beforehand.

Unless otherwise agreed the artwork may not be distributed, published or used in any way, in whole or in part, without prior written permission by me, except as for the specific purpose the art was made for.

In other words: if you commission a CD cover you get the rights to use it as a CD cover, you are not allowed to print shirts or posters or anything else unless we talked about it and I agreed to a different use.

7.

On occasion I will post pictures of my working process on social media sites for promotional purposes.

If you do not want me to, we have to talk about the reasons beforehand.

I will post pictures of every drawing in its original form and in the final form of its particular purpose. This means I will post a picture of an album cover without name/band logo/title and later the final result with name/band logo/title, for book covers, posters and so on it is the same procedure.

This is not negotiable.

If you post any images of my artwork please make sure to use the images I provide to you and tag or link at least one of my social media sites

8.

Deposit Copy

I would like to have a free deposit copy of the medium/media you are using my artwork for (shirt/book/cd etc.).

Prices

My prices depend on different parameters:

- Size of the drawing

- Technique (ink, pencil or chalk drawing)

- Complexity of the drawing (How many elements are in the drawing? Is a background needed? – A simple skull for example is easier than a drawing of a whole forest)

- Is an elaborate digitally postprocessing needed?

- Coloring (digitally coloring or with brush pens)

- Usage (private or commercial)
